Snowy Fun!

I'm relieved.

There's actual winter weather this year.  Last year's snow strike had me worried that there was either some serious global warming going on or that we deserved to be punished with no snow days.

It was one of those perfect days at home.  Everyone stayed in their pajamas all day.  We accomplished a huge project of re-organizing the toy room with all the Christmas loot the boys scored.  Chili was cooking on the stove.  And we had a mini blizzard!

I bundled up Sean and Scott volunteered to go out with him.  Since Evan is still running a fever and not feeling so hot, I stayed inside with him and caught up on my Teen Mom 2 episodes (I'm embarrassed to admit I actually watch that show).

I'm not so sure Sean was a fan of the extra layers and clunky boots.

But, considering he got one use out of last year's snow gear, he was going to wear this stuff whether he liked it or not.

I watched and snapped some shots from the living room window and it looks like Sean enjoyed himself.

I could hear the shrieks coming from outside as Scott threw snowballs at him and taught him how to make a snowman.

An episode of Thomas the Train and a bowl of chili later, we gave the kids warm baths and crossed our fingers they would go to bed easily tonight.  The last few days of holiday celebrations have really worn us all out.  Not to mention that neither one of the kids are sleeping through the night right now....

But, cute moments like this kind of make up for the lack of sleep, tons of tantrums, and a sick crabby baby.
