Wednesday morning we woke up bright and early ready to tackle Magic Kingdom rope drop! We did a mobile order for breakfast at Pop and the boys were excited to start their day with Mickey waffles! There was a bus ready for us to go right to Pop and we squeezed on as some of the last people. We arrived and got through security and scanning our magic bands. We opted to veer off to the right side waiting to get over to Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride with everyone else it seemed, but once the park opened we only waited 15 minutes and were on the ride!
The kids wanted to try the Sword in the Stone so we made our way over there and did Haunted Mansion and It's a Small World afterwards. Evan wanted to meet Donald so we did a meet and greet back by Dumbo with Donald and Goofy. And then it was time to ride Tron. We did not get in the virtual queue that morning so I bought the lightning lane for it and got to pick our time for late morning before lunch. I'm so glad we paid for it. The virtual queue line seemed so long and didn't move and we walked right on with Lightning Lane. It was a super fun ride, but so short!
We had a Disability Pass for Evan with his severe anxiety and it actually made for a much nicer experience for us. It took some work to get ahead of time (7+ hours of waiting on hold for a virtual chat), but it was worth it to see him relaxed. We were able to book rides like fastpasses on the app and avoid waiting in line. We still had to wait the posted wait time, just not in line. So, our first pass was for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and then we grabbed lunch afterwards at Pinocchio Village Haus to get some pizzas and salad. After lunch we enjoyed taking some pictures by the castle, shopping on Main Street, Mickey ice cream bars, and watching a Calvacade come down Main Street.
The Enchanted Tiki Room is always a nice spot for a break. The kids enjoy it and the Dole Whip Floats right next door are amazing! The kids love the Aladdin ride so that was a must-do. We did Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan with the Disability Pass. And we enjoyed laying on the grass in "the hub" off Main Street for a bit to get off our feet and relax. Then we were off to Space Mountain with the Disability Pass, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and the Peoplemover.
Dinner was a hodge podge of things everyone wanted. I got cheeseburger spring rolls from the cart on the way to Adventureland. I've heard nothing but good things about these and they did not disappoint! The kids and Scott had food at Pecos Bill, which Evan wasn't thrilled about. We rode a few favorites again and then we had to find a spot for the fireworks show. I was so proud of the kids! They made it 13 hours in the park with me on my crazy mission to stay for the fireworks and it was so worth it. I sang along, I cried, the kids were in awe, and it was just....magical!
The bus got us back just after 10pm and we all crashed! It was an amazing day!
