Evan's 11th Birthday Pool Party!

 We celebrated Evan's birthday a month early with his friends and some of his teammates at Castle Gardens Pool at the end of July.  It was on the last Saturday in July from 1-4pm and we had the pavilion in the lawn all to ourselves.  It was an overcast day at the start of the party, but by the end, it was nice and sunny!  

His friends from school came: Ethan, Nick, Leo, Myles, Patrick, Kellan (and his older brother, Corey), and Steven.  His teammates came: Johan, Bobby, and Austin.  And our neighbors came: Henry, Jack, and and Andrew.  He had a great turnout!  

We did snacks and drinks for the kids and bought a cookie cake from Sams Club (this was the easiest option since we lost power for the two days leading up to the party and didn't want to get anything that required refrigeration).  He got lots of baseball cards, gift cards, framed baseball pictures, and transformer toys.  It was a great party!
