Family pics at Maybury State Park

I'm not quite sure what I was thinking, but I had a vision of taking pictures of my family at Maybury State Park by the end of the summer.  The problem?  I wanted to be in them too.  Shouldn't be too hard with the use of a tripod, right?

Ughhh...it was so darn hard!

Lugging the equipment around, trying not to get dirty, trying to keep the kids clean and focused (and hell, let's include my husband in that category), was no easy feat.  I was exhausted by the end, but I'm happy that I got at least a few good ones!

Next time we're shelling the money out and hiring someone...
