Spring Soccer comes to an end!

Last weekend the boys each finished their spring soccer season and both of their teams ended up winning their division!

Sean's U12 team played in Northville early Saturday morning and won big (8-2)!  Sean was bummed he didn't score any goals this season, but he played hard and made some great assists in several games and had shots on goal several times.  His team is celebrating with a pool party at Castle Gardens next Monday, which we are now members at.  He was set to quit soccer after this season, but decided he loves it too much.  He'll be back in the fall playing U13 with the same team!

Evan's game was just after Sean's.  Sean and I missed the first half, but got there at the start of the second and they were winning 4-1 at that point.  They needed to win this game in order to stay in 1st place and they absolutely dominated!  What a fun game to watch!

We celebrated with a pizza party at a park in our neighborhood.  I ran out and picked up Hot and Readys from Little Caesars and other parents contributed other things.  It was a nice party!  We'll be coaching again in the fall with extra help from a few other dads since I'll be recovering from surgery and hopefully Evan will be on a travel baseball team too.  It's going to be one busy fall!

Great season, boys!
