Happy Halloween 2023!

We celebrated Halloween in our typical fashion.  Halloween parade for Evan (his last one!) at school.  Scott took the day off and was able to go and see him.  We did dinner at Jackie's house with her chili and vegetarian chili.  The kids made their own pizzas.  It was tasty and it felt like we had more time than usual this year to enjoy dinner and catch up with Scott's family.

It even started snowing!  First snow of the year!  

We went back home and bundled up for trick-or-treating.  Our old neighbors, the Frantsens, met back up with us for their boys to trick-or-treat back in their old neighborhood and AJ went around with Sean.  The kids made out like bandits and made it until around 7:30pm before calling it quits.  They came in our house to trade their loot and everyone left by 8:30pm.  

We didn't attend any other Halloween events this year.  It was our first year not doing the Pumpkin Palooza in downtown Plymouth.  Crazy to think the boys are getting to be too old for that!  We did do a pumpkin carving night with Scott's family, which was fun and hopefully a new tradition.

The boys also insisted on carving pumpkins the night before Halloween.  So, we had to buy some more, but they had fun watching The Haunted Mansion while carving!
