Whew! Time to get caught up on pictures. Our desktop computer has been giving us problems and of course, that's the computer that has Lightroom on it. So, here I am at work downloading a free trial of Lightroom for my work computer and grabbing the pictures off of Google Photos. Gosh...it's quite a bit of work!
Anyway, we had a snow day, as expected, on Friday when the Olympics were kicking off. It was such a nice day at home! The boys got their "homework" done as soon as possible so they could spend the rest of the morning/day lounging in their pajamas and getting caught up on movies. They met up with the neighbor boys outside to play in the snow while the dads all shoveled the driveways.
That evening we invited our neighbors over to watch the Olympics Opening Ceremony together. We ordered pizza from Belly Busters, made a salad and some other appetizers, and all hung out! I had a few activities for the kids to do from coloring Olympic rings to playing with a fake torch. The kids all had a blast! Aside from Bailey being sick, multiple times all over our floors throughout the party, it ended up being a really evening!
After our extra long weekend at home together, we started our busy week with Valentine's Day and Evan's 100th day of school! I bought the boys a few books and some candy treats for Valentine's Day and they were both very excited to hand out their Valentine's to their classes. Sean chose to do a monster truck eraser and Evan picked heart-shaped glasses. So fun! For dinner, we made heart shaped pizza and we did chocolate fondue for dessert, which was a big hit!
Evan celebrated his 100th day of school on Thursday! He worked hard on making his t-shirt with bubble gum (his choice). I printed the image of the gumball machine off the internet, ironed it on with transfer paper, and he used fingerprints to make the gumballs. He had a great day of school and Sean's class did the 101st day of school since they're first graders. No fancy shirts or outfits, but they did some fun math activities.
Friday morning we woke up and did some errands, dropped the dog off in Troy, and grabbed Panera for lunch. By late afternoon it was time to head to the airport for Tucson!
