Evan's Science Center Field Trip

Last week, on the day before Halloween, I took a day off work to be able to go on Evan's field trip to the Leslie Science Center in Ann Arbor.  Knowing that he has one other in May that I wouldn't be able to attend, I knew this was my last chance for going on a Kindergarten field trip.  I'm so glad I went!  We had so much fun!

I met the bus at the Science Center and we broke into groups.  The kids learned about the five senses in nature.

It was a pretty chilly day outside, but we bundled up and made do.  I'm just happy it wasn't raining!

We ate lunch with his class and then I checked him out of school and he came home with me in my car.  I made a last minute decision to stop at the Plymouth Orchards for one last visit for cider and donuts.  It was very busy with school field trips, but we had fun!  And we brought home a donut and some cider for Sean.  The rest of the afternoon we spent getting things ready for Halloween and riding bikes to the park.  It was a special day spent with my pookie bear!
