School's out for summer!

That's a wrap on the 2022-2023 school year!

Sean absolutely rocked his first year of middle school finishing with all A's, a successful wrestling season with East taking 1st place in the district, and some new friends!  We are SO proud of how motivated he stayed all year, his organization, and his willingness to try wrestling again.

He's wearing a range of sizes from YXL to adult small to a 14.  He's wearing a size 7.5 men's shoe.  He loves Fortnite, soccer, collecting baseball cards, playing outside with the neighbors and friends, and watching movies.  He's got a voracious appetite and is willing to try new things, which is exciting!  He's still playing the drums/xylophone and is going to continue in 7th grade.  He's taking a wrestling conditioning class 2x a week this summer with the Plymouth Canton Wrestling Club and plans to wrestle in 7th grade next year and will also play soccer with his same team and hopefully flag football again.

Evan had a good year in 4th grade!  It wasn't his favorite year for teachers (his classroom teacher and also some of the electives), but he still did great!  He earned mostly 4's with a few 3's scattered in there.  He had a rough start with music (oddly enough...), but it was a battle of personalities with the teacher and he ended up finishing strong and changing his perception of the teacher.  He's quite skilled with the recorder now!  He had a lot of friends in his class this year that helped make it more enjoyable!

Evan is wearing a Youth Large or a size 12 (mostly for the length).  He's a tall, but skinny kiddo!  He's wearing a size 4 shoe.  His appetite is not as voracious as his brother's, but we are working on it every day.  Getting protein in this kid is a real struggle some days.  He could live off of fruits, veggies, carbs, and candy.  Oh and Prime.  He's no longer taking guitar lessons, but he'll pick it up from time to time and practice.  He's so busy with baseball and it's been a learning curve this year doing our first year of travel ball, but he'll be back for year 2.  He's going to play rec baseball in the fall on the off season and do flag football and then his travel team will be back together in November for winter training.  We're proud of this kiddo for how he's balanced everything this year while also working on his anxiety!

We kicked off summer break by going to a friend's house that has boys the same ages as Sean and Evan.  They had pizza and played all afternoon. It was fun!

Scott was out a few days later on a Friday!  Him and I escaped for a beer at Arbor Brewing.  We picked up Pizza Spot and brought it back home to have with a bonfire and a movie night with the boys.  They picked Moana and it was a fun evening!

Happy summer!
