Another huge Pinterest find! Busy bags for Sean!
With the impending birth of Evan looming around the corner (he'll be here no later than 5 weeks from today), I knew I needed to come up with some quiet things that Sean can do while I nurse Evan. And yes, I know that an episode of Bubble Guppies or Dinosaur Train a day won't kill him, but for the other 10 times that I'm nursing during these first few months, things to keep Sean safe and busy are a must!
So, I bought a plastic shoe bin from Target for $2.50, some zippered pencil pouches from Stapes for $1 each, and I raided the $1 bins at Target to get some things that I think will entertain him.
Such as a big twenty piece numbers puzzle, dinosaur flash cards, a Cars coloring book with markers, and a Batman notebook with stickers.
Or little containers of play-doh, a sock monkey book, and lots of mini animals.
Or an Elmo book about numbers, Dr. Suess memory game with numbers, and US Animal flashcards.
I have more pencil pouches waiting to be filled, so the plan is to raid the dollar store later this weekend.
With another project completed, I'm feeling more and more prepared for Evan's arrival.
Next task: Packing the hospital bag next week and installing the car seat bases in both of our cars. Whew - this is getting real!
