Last Friday the boys celebrated their last day of school with a half day! I made sure to take their last day of school photos that morning before school since I had a half day too and started my day with my prep hour. I can't get over how much they grew this year, both physically and academically!
Their school does a 5th grade "clap out" at the end of the school day and I couldn't help but get a bit emotional for those kids and their parents and of course thinking about my own boys getting older. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to Mrs. Korstjen who had both Sean and Evan in Young 5's. We got some pictures with each of their teachers and some friends. And that was it for the 2017-2018 school year!
We celebrated with lunch on the patio at Leo's, where we ran into Samuel and his grandparents. Sean wasn't feeling the best, which kind of stunk. Scott was wrapping things up at work and then we were going to hit the road and head up north for Father's Day (that was what Scott wanted to do). School's out for summer!!
