Evan's Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea

At the beginning of the month, Evan's Kindergarten class put on a Mother's Day Tea celebration.  I took the day off of work to be able to attend that and to also be able to attend Sean's field trip to Geer School the same day. 

I drove the boys to school, dropped off Sean and went down to Evan's room where he had a bunch of things made for me at his table.  There was a tray of cookies, muffins, and other treats and bottles of water for all the moms.  Evan was so proud of the things he made for me and I'm so glad I attended!

After we had some treats and drinks, each kid came up and used the microphone to say a sentence they wrote for their mom.  Evan's was, "My mom is the best at cooking me dinner." and it was adorable listening to them all!

I love my bug and I'm so blessed to be his mom!
