How far along? 20 weeks, 3 days. Officially past the half baked point!
Weight gain/loss: Staying solid at 14 lbs. I brought the scale out finally and have started using it a few times a week.
Feeling: I've started to have some lower back pain. On Saturday night at one point while sitting on the couch, it was so bad, I jumped off the couch in pain and had to sit on my hands and knees for a minute. I'm getting afraid for what's to come...
Sleep: Turning from side to side with the body pillow is starting to become more challenging. It doesn't help that the dog is usually hogging my blankets and in my way.
Food cravings: Just like I thought last week...back to chips. This week was Better Made BBQ. I've also been craving pigs in a blanket for breakfast and french toast. I seriously love breakfast foods!
Movement? Daily and a lot considering the whole anterior placenta thing. Yesterday, while eating lasagna at lunch, baby was having a field day.
What I miss? Lunch meat! At my next appointment I'm going to ask how big a deal it is to eat it heated up. I'm dying for a sandwich.
Best moment this week: Getting some shopping done for the baby! I bought an extra changing pad for downstairs, two changing pad covers, a new diaper bag (today on sale at Vera Bradley), and a few packages of newborn diapers that was on sale at Target.
What I'm looking forward to: My next appointment on May 17th and my next ultrasound in June. Oh - and deciding on a name!
Next Appointment: May 17th at 3:50pm with Dr. Long.
Milestones: Well, hitting the 20 week mark is always exciting. But, the baby is the size of a cantaloupe this week, which is crazy big to me! He's got working taste buds (hope he's loving the chips) and is gulping down amniotic fluid to practice swallowing and eating! Oh boy!
