I've decided that I'm going to start sharing my weekly meal plans since they seem to be a popular discussion topic whenever we have people over. Thanks to my framed weekly menu, our visitors at our house are able to easily view what we're going to be dining on all week. See my post back in February about it: Pinterest Menu.
Additionally, I think it's time I challenge myself to coming up with more creative meals during the week since our usuals are getting a bit boring. I'm going to challenge myself to make one new meal each week and at least one meal has to be a crock pot meal. Which will definitely come in handy since Scott is coaching baseball right now and has a game each week.
Without further ado, here's this weeks meals with links to any recipes I found online ::ahem...thanks Pinterest!::
Monday - Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian salad, Peas for Sean.
Tuesday - Nacho casserole (especially since I have so much leftover from our Cinco de Mayo party last Saturday). Here's the link to it: Mexican Casserole
Wednesday - Kraft's "Fresh Takes" seasoning on chicken breasts, buttered noodles, and green beans.
Thursday - Sausage and Peppers in the Crock Pot (my challenge for the week). Here's the link to it: Sausage and Peppers
Friday - Gnocchi Mac n' Cheese (compliments of Pinterest!). I have been eying this recipe forever! Here's the link: Gnocchi Mac n' Cheese
Here's hoping these all turn out decent and that I stick to the plan!
Good luck with that!
ReplyDeleteI love this post. I have a hard time sticking with a meal plan even though I made the cute Pinterest meal planning board too. I'm definitely going to borrow some of these recipes--they look delish!
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like I'm missing out the yummy-looking crockpot dish for Thursday!! Let me know how that turns out.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow - the sausages and peppers in the crock pot were a huge hit!!! Sean scarfed down an entire sausage with green peppers. Scott and I had them on homemade garlic bread and it was delish! We'll definitely be making this again and I love that it can be a freezer item for when baby #2 comes!
